NA	Not Available	2026							Uncertain improvement status	Apparently spontaneous seedling from an otherwise untracked population of typical Anemone virginiana growing in Fern Valley (this could be derived from multiple accessions, and the species was also found naturally occurring on the grounds according to Freeman's checklist). The plant has unusual foliage characterized by enhanced and crowded marginal teeth and lobes (in both size and number), giving the plant heavily incised, ruffled, full, "frilly" appearance. This essentially makes the plant a three-season garden feature, with white spring flowers, attractive and durable summer foliage, and the architectural unripe fruits that reveal cottony seed masses in the fall. Spotted 6/30/2026 growing in bed FV-02; Angela Magnan says that she had noticed the plant before. Given its unique appearance and the fact that it is a tough native perennial, it should be evaluated further for horticultural potential.	2197113	NA 89250
