Growing in moist ravine.	Wild material	Full name as recorded at the U.S. National Arboretum: Arachniods standishii 'Mt Daisen'. This accession was introduced by Plant Delights Nursery in 2023 as Arachniodes standishii 'Mt Daisen' based on the belief that it was NA 45013. However, plants labeled NA 45013 (Odontosoria chinensis) for some years were actually determined in 2013 to belong to NA 44856 (Arachniodes standishii). Plants of that accession might have regrown following a bed renovation, and replanted NA 45013 is believed to have died out. Material had been sent to T. Avent of Plant Delights under NA 45013, Odontosoria chinensis, in 2005 and again in 2011. In 2013, USNA staff realized the error and corrected the identities to NA 44856, which was collected not from Mt Daisen but from Tateyama (mountain), Kitayamata-gawa (river).	2158811	NA 44856
