16PI 553723R. niveus M-2605Rubus hypargyrus Edgew. var. niveus H. Hara IndiaCORSEED1983COLLECTEDLandraceAdapted to subtropical regions only, evergreen. On MIA-26058, all I have is received on 23rd of January 1980 from C.C. Wooten at 9045 SW 64th Court, Miami as 100 seeds. The only location it ever had was our greenhouse, then an annotation of Not Found in March 1985 (transferred to NCGR-Corvallis in January 1983). Under origin it says India. Not sure if the donor collected it from there or from a plant he had at his house that originally came from India. Since the inventory book does not state that the donor collected it in India, I assume he didn't. - W. Wasik, HSRS-Miami 11/13/20061448695PI 553723
