Comment: Lamarck provided a short diagnosis for this name preceded by an asterisk, not a number as for his other species, however, in vol. 1: 24 of this work, in his first use of the asterisk preceding unnumbered entries he stated "Espèces simplement indiquées", suggesting that some species names, although not being treated fully in his work, could still be considered as accepted by him
